CROSSFIT

CrossFit is a high-intensity fitness training program that combines elements of weightlifting, cardiovascular exercise, and bodyweight movements. Designed to improve overall fitness and functional strength, CrossFit workouts—often called WODs (Workouts of the Day)—are constantly varied and scalable to suit all fitness levels. It emphasizes core strength, endurance, agility, and mobility through exercises like squats, deadlifts, pull-ups, and kettlebell swings. Often performed in a group setting at CrossFit-affiliated gyms, or "boxes," the program fosters a strong community spirit and competitive atmosphere. Developed by Greg Glassman in the early 2000s, CrossFit has grown into a global fitness movement with its own competitive events, such as the CrossFit Games.
